Modern Estate Transformation
Where architectural detail meets indoor–outdoor living
This residential transformation reimagines a modern estate through a seamless blend of architectural presence, refined interior detail, and elevated outdoor living. The project began at the front entrance, where a new addition was introduced to create a true foyer and enhance the home’s street presence. This architectural gesture not only improves flow but also redefines the home’s façade — establishing a strong first impression and a sense of arrival.
Inside, the living space was completely re-envisioned to support both scale and sophistication. Towering 22-foot feature walls in solid oak millwork anchor the interior, paired with polished porcelain tile flooring, custom furniture design, and a bespoke chandelier by Lib & Co. lighting. The existing cabana structures were fully gutted and transformed, while a dramatic expansion of the primary opening — from a 12-foot to a 24-foot sliding door system — creates a fluid indoor–outdoor connection and floods the space with natural light.
The kitchen is defined by custom ash millwork at the island and vanity, complemented by full-height granite backsplashes and countertops, adding warmth, texture, and durability to the heart of the home. Outdoors, the backyard was entirely reimagined. Stucco finishes were replaced with stone, the pool was deepened and upgraded with a tanning deck and new liner, and expansive Techo-Bloc para slabs now frame the pool area. Heated walkways extend comfort into the shoulder seasons, while a custom outdoor kitchen with granite surfaces and a Delta Heat barbecue creates a natural gathering point for entertaining.
To complete the transformation, the driveway and culvert were upgraded — tying the home’s renewed presence together from curb to courtyard. The result is a cohesive, light-filled residence that balances architectural strength with thoughtful detail — a home designed to be experienced as much as admired.
